Jeremiah 13:23 NIV “Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.”

People hate God, they can’t stand Him. They like eating His food, they like His air they breathe, they like all the good things God gives them but they don’t like God. So guess what God’s gonna do? He’s gonna take all those things back.😳 Jesus says the truth will set us free. (John 8:32) This article is about the true state MANY are in and how they got there. The goal is to encourage all who will listen not to wind up in the same place.

God says some people are incapable of doing what is good. They have grown so accustomed to doing evil they are dead. Just as an Ethiopian cannot change his skin or a leopard it’s spots they will never change:

Romans 1:28 KJV “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”

Again, God says this not me. I just happen to agree with what God says.

2 Peter 2:13 NLT “Their destruction is their reward for the harm they have done. They love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a disgrace and a stain among you. They delight in deception even as they eat with you in your fellowship meals.”

Jude 1:12 KJV “These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, TWICE DEAD, plucked up by the roots.”

These are TWICE DEAD God says. They love clinging to believers, pretending to be like them, and find pleasure in manipulating whoever they can.

I recently heard a woman who claims to believe in Jesus whom I know is very materialistic say, “God is a loving God, He won’t burn people in hell. Hell is just a punishment, but you won’t burn there.” Sadly the riches and comforts of this life has blinded her. (Matthew 7:13-14) I knew by how our conversation was going I couldn’t keep giving pearls of truth to her so I simply said, “Jesus said in hell there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 13:42 Matthew 13:50) She didn’t deny He said that but still could not accept Jesus meant exactly what He said. Of course people don’t want to believe what God says is the just punishment for the wicked. And why not? Because they’re works are evil. (John 3:19-21)

WOULD A LOVING GOD ALLOW PEOPLE TO BE DECEIVED AND DOOMED?😳

Not only does God allow the wicked to be deceived He even chooses their delusions:

Isaiah 66:4 KJV “I ALSO WILL CHOOSE THEIR DELUSIONS, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.”

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 KJV “And for this cause God shall send them STRONG DELUSION, that they should BELIEVE A LIE: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Yes, God does allow deception to overtake the wicked. You reap what you sow. (Galatians 6:7-8) Live a lie and deceive others and you get deceived. This is God’s righteous judgment. Everyone has heard about this. Worldly folks call it Karma. But who really believes what goes around comes back around? Not many. If they did they would live much differently.

A wicked king named Ahab, the husband of the wicked witch Jezebel was about to go into battle the next day against an opposing army. Bucking him up was his 400 false prophets prophesying victory for the king. “Surely I will be victorious,” Ahab thought. “How could all these prophets be wrong? 400 of them are all prophesying the same thing, victory!” Then God sent one true prophet (Micaiah) to king Ahab to let him know what was really going on:

1 Kings 22:19-23 NIV ‘ “Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne with all the multitudes of heaven standing around him on his right and on his left. [20] And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’ “One suggested this, and another that. [21] Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ [22] “ ‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. “ ‘I WILL GO OUT AND BE A DECEIVING SPIRIT IN THE MOUTHS OF ALL HIS PROPHETS,’ he said. “ ‘YOU WILL SUCCEED IN ENTICING HIM,’SAID THE LORD. ‘GO AND DO IT.’ [23] “So now THE LORD HAS PUT A DECEIVING SPIRIT IN THE MOUTH OF ALL THESE PROPHETS OF YOURS. The Lord has decreed disaster for you.” ‘

Yes, God does indeed declare disaster for and even chooses the delusions of the wicked! People think they know who God is but really don’t.🤔 He is the kindest sweetest person ever! But if you are wicked He is your worse enemy. (James 4:6)

ARE PEOPLE DECEIVED INTO RECEIVING THE MARK OF THE BEAST?😳

Oh if people only believed and loved the truth! They would never have been deceived into receiving the mark of the beast:😓

Revelation 19:20 ESV “And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which HE DECEIVED THOSE WHO HAD RECEIVED THE MARK OF THE BEAST and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.”

EVERYONE who receives the mark of the beast is deceived into doing so one way or another God says. Yes, this too is the just reward of the wicked for choosing evil over good. (Isaiah 5:20 Revelation 14:9-11) Disregarding God is evil. Claiming to be with God but blatantly disobeying His commands is also evil. Making money and material things our God is evil. (Matthew 6:24) Oh if only those who claim to believe in God had confronted the love of money! How things would have turned out differently for them had they dealt with this sin! (1 Timothy 6:5-10) They would have trusted God to provide for them instead of receiving Satan’s mark to keep their jobs, be able to eat, buy stuff, pay their bills, etcetera. They would have had the fortitude to leave all and follow Jesus, especially a job that demands you defile your temple by putting a DNA changing injection into your body!😤 (Luke 9:57-62 Matthew 19:29 1 Corinthians 3:16-17) Throw away your soul for a job?😳 Is that all you think your soul is worth? A job that doesn’t love you, will chew you up, spit you out, and throw you away like a sanitary napkin when it’s done with you? MAY WE NEVER BE THAT STUPID!!!😤

THE WICKED’S REWARD

Psalm 91:8 KJV “Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”

Revelation 16:1-2 NLT “Then I heard a mighty voice from the Temple say to the seven angels, “Go your ways and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.” [2] So the first angel left the Temple and poured out his bowl on the earth, and HORRIBLE, MALIGNANT SORES BROKE OUT ON EVERY ONE WHO HAD THE MARK OF THE BEAST and who worshiped his statue.”

Zechariah 14:12-13 NLT “And THE LORD WILL SEND A PLAGUE on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their PEOPLE WILL BECOME LIKE WALKING CORPSES, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. [13] On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the LORD with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand.”

Revelation 16:1-2 and Zachariah 14:12-13 sounds like scenes from a zombie movie, doesn’t it? Hmmmmmmmmm.🤔 But this is only a tiny part of the reward for those who are dead. God is nobody to play with. We will reap what we sow. May we take heed, take God seriously and live.

Proverbs 9:10 NIV “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
