Revelation 2:21 LEB “And I have given her time in order to repent, and she did not want to repent from her sexual immorality.”

Will Jezebel (aka a narcissist) repent because you shower them with unconditional love? The short answer is, no. Who’s more loving, us or God? Even God’s amazing grace and love aren’t enough to make Jezebel repent. She/he is unwilling to repent the Lord says. Don’t get it twisted, I’m not saying they all have no hope. There was King Manasseh who did all forms of witchcraft, divination, sorcery, etcetera. He even sacrificed his children burning them in the fire. He did worse witchcraft than those before him. But this man repented. Remember how proud King Nebuchadnezzar was? He too repented. But what did these two men have in common? It took an encounter with Almighty God to bring them to their knees. They both had to hit rock bottom and hit it hard. They lost their kingdoms and all their feelings of grandiosity. Nebuchadnezzar was driven insane and given the mind of a wild animal for 7 years before he repented. (Daniel 4:24-35)
Most Jezebels like the Pharaoh of Egypt who opposed Moses never repent. It doesn’t matter what happens to them. We treat them nice; shower them with compliments, and buy them expensive gifts yet nothing changes. It does the total opposite it feeds their egos. Again, no one loves deeper than God. No one is more patient than Him. If His love doesn’t cause Jezebel to repent nothing will? Do we think we can do a better job than Almighty God in this regard?
I know you love this person. You feel sorry for them and the bad breaks they’ve had in life. Been there. The only problem is they don’t love you. And don’t feel sorry for anything they’ve done in this life. Including how they treat you. They are devoid of love, remorse, and empathy. (2 Timothy 3:1-9) They can say they’re sorry but their actions say differently. They can say they appreciate you and what you do for them but their deeds prove them liars. Jezebels are master manipulators. Remember all witchcraft consists of manipulation, intimidation, and domination. Jezebel makes you feel all these. That’s because Jezebel is a witch (male or female). They love you one moment and hate you the next. The only thing Jezebel really loves is controlling you through your emotions. This leaves you traumatized and confused. Too much of this treatment can destroy you. And that’s the plan of the enemy: to steal, kill, and destroy.
Have you ever asked yourself, “How could someone be so charming yet be so evil?” This next passage explains:
2 Corinthians 11:14-15 CSB “And no wonder! For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no great surprise if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be according to their works.”
It’s all a disguise. It’s like a mirage. An optical illusion. They are like their master Satan. They can appear to be light one moment and darkness the next. A Jezebel once told me, “I walk in the light and the darkness.” She meant it, literally. Duality is a basic occult teaching. And she was pretty darn good at it. She can make you think she believes in Jesus like you do. But eventually, the mask comes off. You see, that servant of Christ act takes a lot of hard work. It’s tiring. That demon can’t wait to get out of that suit. Yucky!🤮 Sometimes it happens when you’re paying attention when they don’t know you’re watching. It is then God lets you know what and who you are dealing with: demons. He lets you know what you’re in a relationship with, or even what you are married to. Yikes!
DON’T FRET
PSALM 37:8-15 CSB “Refrain from anger and give up your rage; do not be agitated—it can only bring harm. 9 For evildoers will be destroyed, but those who put their hope in the Lord will inherit the land. 10 A little while, and the wicked person will be no more; though you look for him, he will not be there. 11 But the humble will inherit the land and will enjoy abundant prosperity. 12 The wicked person schemes against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him. 13 The Lord laughs at him because he sees that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn the sword and strung the bow to bring down the poor and needy and to slaughter those whose way is upright. 15 Their swords will enter their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.”
I encourage you and me not to go to the other extreme with Jezebels. Not to give in to anger and rage. This is hard. Jezebels are experts at pressing our buttons. Yes, if not careful we will take on their personality traits and become like them. (Proverbs 22:24-25) And that’s the plan; to turn us to the dark side. That’s why Jezebel entered your life. To turn you away from God. This is a test for us and for them. Will you and I turn from God and worship another person and their demons? Will we keep allowing Jezebel to manipulate, intimidate, and dominate us? To keep us under their spell? (Galatians 3:1) Or will the Jezebel narcissist respond to God’s love displayed through us? Is there any real hope for him/her to repent? Jesus says He gives her time to repent. So we must be careful how we judge this situation. This is not easy especially when you are in a relationship with someone who has the Jezebel spirit. Pray, Pray, Pray to God for help constantly.
When Jezebel refuses to repent there is only one thing left. God’s righteous judgment:
Revelation 2:22-29 ESV “Behold, I am throwing her into a sickbed and those who committed adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent from her deeds. Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works, 23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works. 24 But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I do not lay on you any other burden. 25 Only hold fast what you have until I come. 26 The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, 27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
God assures us He will judge Jezebel. There’s a saying, “God has a large belt. You better get out of the way or you will get hit too.” That’s how it is with Jezebel. Jesus says those who commit adultery with her will suffer her punishment. That’s GREAT AFFLICTION. It’s obvious what one must do if he/she cherishes his/her own life. REPENT! Change your feelings about Jezebel. He/she is there to cause your ruin. Those who are wise will get out of the way when Jezebel refuses to repent. We will let go and let God do His work. Learn from the experience and move on. If she/he hasn’t responded to God’s love and grace how can they appreciate yours? Tolerating a Jezebel is enabling them. If there is any hope for change we must let go and let God. That often means completely walking away. They must have their own encounter with God just as King Nebuchadnezzar and Manasseh did.
