John 3:19-20 CSB “This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed.”

Some folks are vehemently opposed to change. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t offer or try to help them. But do know some love wickedness. A lover of evil hates the righteous for even attempting to help them. Even while you support them, they will bite you like a snake. All your loving attempts are disdained.
The wicked do not want their evil deeds brought to light. Feelings of shame and guilt for wrong behavior affect them like light to a vampire. They will fight anything or anyone that makes them feel the slightest remorse. This is why they go crazy when you criticize them in any way. They fight tooth and nail to keep up their fake personas. They will even commit murder to keep their false image intact. So be careful of how, when, and where you expose certain people:
Proverbs 9:7-9 LEB “He who corrects a scoffer gains abuse for himself, and he who rebukes the wicked ⌊gets hurt⌋. 8 Do not rebuke a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke the wise and he will love you. 9 Give to a wise one and he will become more wise; ⌊teach⌋ a righteous one and he will increase learning.”
If God tells us to expose someone they must be exposed regardless of the consequences. We fear God, not man. (Matthew 10:28 Joshua 1:9) God says to have nothing to do with the evil deeds of darkness but rather to expose them. (Ephesians 5:11) Sometimes that includes exposing wicked people behind these deeds. Many have taken occult oaths they are afraid of breaking. Getting out of these is not easy because the demons keep them in constant fear of the repercussions. They put up a bold front that they fear nothing and no one but they are always fearful. Every witch lives in fear. Satan’s kingdom is ruled by hatred and fear. He is not a kind or forgiving master.
Pray for people who are in the occult. Some were taught these things from childhood. Some are sold into this life before coming out of the womb. It’s deep. This life is all they know. Love is foreign to them. Which is why they hate your love. They were taught to hate love from infancy. To them, it is a weakness. But God has a way of breaking down even the most powerful witch. Some of them now work for His kingdom. To see if this is true I encourage you to look up King Manasseh in the Bible. Check out his story. This man did all forms of witchcraft, divination, you name it he did it. He even sacrificed his children in the fire. The Bible says he sinned worse than those before him. Yet God changed him. Yes, King Manasseh repented!😊 The story doesn’t always end this way but sometimes it does. So be careful when dealing with those who work for the dark side. Who knows? God might be using you to help them, or maybe not.
Avoid the savior complex. What I mean is do not intentionally befriend someone you know is a witch. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18) Sometimes God lets people come into our lives unknowingly so that they can see His Almighty power. The believer is used by Him to show the wicked they’ve been working for the wrong kingdom. That it’s not as powerful as they were taught. That doesn’t mean they will change overnight. Or that it’s our job to save them. They may repent later. Who knows? But even if they don’t repent at least you presented them with the light. (Revelation 22:17 John 7:38) Now they know that light not only shows up darkness, it completely destroys it! Now the choice is theirs.
