Luke 4:13 AMP “When the devil had finished every temptation, he [TEMPORARILY] left Him until a more opportune time.”

As Satan tempted Jesus, went away, and then came back at a more opportune time so does the narcissist. They are his children. They follow his steps. When a narcissist discards you and then goes to their other supplies you become the most wanted. I know, sounds crazy, right? But it’s a narc. It doesn’t have to make sense. You’re not wanted now because they feel remorse, or want to love you and treat you right. No, it’s to finish you off. Hence stalking, hoovers, etcetera. Yes. It’s to make sure this time when they punish you, you won’t ever recover from it. That’s right, total annihilation is the goal for you and me. A narcissist doesn’t want authentic love they want pleasure. And if you give them pleasure, they will reward you with pain. Let go and let God.

If you let the narcissist back in they must have your complete submission. It doesn’t matter if they’re with someone else. They want you back. There are no boundaries to the narcissist. Limits apply to mere mortals like you and me. They all have a god complex. And no wonder, they are in-dwelt with demons; ancient demigods. Their father is the Devil:

John 8:44 LEB “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father! That one was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand firm in the truth, because truth is not in him. Whenever he speaks the lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father _⌊of lies_⌋.”

Though evil incarnate the narcissist remembers how you treated them. They miss that not you. They want that energy again. The new supplies don’t give them the kind of energy a child of God gives. They will get bored with them soon. Remember, they are energy vampires. And yours is the most potent. But if we let them back in this time the torture will be 10 times worse than before. It’s the demonic entities in them. The narcissist wants positive and negative energy from you. They crave negative energy more. The more sadistic they torture you the more they get a high form your negative reactions. Sadistic supply is a narcissist’s most potent drug. It’s believed they love this even more than sex. And we know how much narcissists love sex. They always want your emotions, the negative ones particularly. This is why they poke the bear. This is why they brutally triangulate to make you jealous:

Proverbs 27:4 CSB “Fury is cruel, and anger a flood, but who can withstand jealousy?”

Remember, it will be 10 times worse if we let the narcissist back in. The goal is to finish us off this time. That can include many things, even your life. Remember what Jesus says happens when an unclean spirit leaves and is let back in? He brings with him 7 evil spirits more wicked than himself. And the condition of that person is worse than the first:

Luke 11:24-26 CSB “When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it roams through waterless places looking for rest, and not finding rest, it then says, ‘I’ll go back to my house that I came from.’ ²⁵ Returning, it finds the house swept and put in order. ²⁶ Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and settle down there. As a result, that person’s last condition is worse than the first.”

I’m not implying everyone gets possessed by a demon when a narcissist enters their life. However, this does happen. What I am saying is there’s an underlying principle here. Letting a demon-possessed person back into your life is playing with fire. (Proverbs 6:27) If you succeeded in disconnecting from a narcissist CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve dodged a bullet! God has spared you. Now keep them out. It is imperative that you GO NO CONTACT. It works. There are many great articles, books, and videos on this topic.

In conclusion one day I was out with my wife (now ex-wife a narcissist). We ran into an associate of hers she’s known for years. The woman said to my wife with a huge smile, “I’ve never seen you smile this much before.” The lady was saying she was glad to see my wife find someone that makes her happy. This is one of the reasons I believe at some point my ex is gonna try to make a comeback. Not because she loves me or will be sorry for all her evil, but because she loved how I made her feel. She wants that energy again. And she wants to get even, to finish me off. Sick, isn’t it? In her insidious, narcissistic mind she believes she owns me. Even more so since we had a soul tie. Our divorce to her is a temporary arrangement. I’m on the shelf until she’s ready to use me again. If I’m dumb enough to let her back in I will be abused 10 times worse than before. Interestingly, narcissists hurt the most those who love them the most. I know, it doesn’t make sense. But it doesn’t have to. Remember, it’s a narc. It only starts making sense when you and I accept the truth: that these folks are pure evil. That there is such a thing as children of the Devil and children of God. (1 John 3:10) This is how they roll. This is how they get down. They are demonic beings incarnate.

Reengaging with you is an ego boost for the narcissist. It’s not love. Remember this when you see their fake tears. Remember this when they promise to be the person you always wanted them to be. One of the reasons they seek to reunite with you is it’s easier. They already know you. They’ve studied you. They know your triggers. They don’t have to work as hard as they would studying and getting to know new supplies. A narcissist always takes the easiest way out. And they will eventually get bored or run out of supply. So BE READY! The Hoover is coming! I too prayerfully plan to BE READY. Remember, we’re not dealing with flesh and blood here. (Ephesians 6:12) We’re dealing with demonic entities. Familiar spirits who have studied you and me from the womb. They know us. They know our strengths and weaknesses. They’re cloaked in human meat suits. Let’s not get too comfortable. The Devil always reappears at a more opportune time.
