I’m Single, Why Does God Seem Silent?

Am I Suffering For My Sins?

Are You Alone?

Are You Alone?

Matthew 18:19-20 KJV “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. [20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

______________________________________________________________________________

When Jesus sent the disciples out to preach He sent them in teams of twos. (Luke 10:1) The Bible says that two can defend themselves and 3 is even better:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 KJV “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. [10] For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. [11] Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone ? [12] And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

The passage above shows the value of having others in our lives we are united with. But let us not get it twisted: there are times in life even seasons when being alone is necessary. The scriptures do not say that if one has to be alone for a time it means they are doomed. Only that it’s more beneficial as a rule to have others in our lives we can trust. It is my hope and prayer that this article encourages you especially if the Lord has taken you to a lonely place for a time or a season.

The great prophet Elijah at times was alone. So was the prophet Jeremiah, Isaiah, and other men and women of God. The apostle John was exiled on an island called Patmos for preaching the gospel. He was cut off from society. What a lonely experience. Though he was by himself from a human standpoint John had some of the greatest moments of his life in the Lord as he was taken up in the spirit and shown awesome visions form the Lord. John recorded these visions in the Bible book of Revelation. What comfort this must have given John. Our Father knows how to comfort the lonely.😊

God is the same yesterday today and forever. He doesn’t show favoritism. He will comfort us in our loneliness too like He did Elijah, Jeremiah, and John. The key is we must continue to seek Him as they did. And when we get discouraged we must continue to fight. We mustn’t let discouragement defeat us.

A BALANCED VIEW

Yes, a person can still serve God while they are alone. But when it comes to fellowship with other believers we have a command from our Father:

Hebrews 10:24-25 NET “And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works, not abandoning our own meetings, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and even more so because you see the day drawing near.”

Some of us have heard that command many times, haven’t we? Some have used it in an attempt to get us to join their false churches. The Holly Spirit let us know these churches were false; they were not teaching the truth from God’s word, so we did not join them. Bravo for not letting someone hoodwink you. Yet at the same time we must be careful not to let those false prophets cause us to believe there are no true church fellowships out there worth looking for. There are some though few. Which is why they can be so hard to find. We are truly living in the days of apostasy foretold by Jesus Christ and the apostles:

1 Timothy‬ ‭4:1-2‬ ‭NET‬‬ “Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times SOME WILL DESERT THE FAITH and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings, influenced by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared.”

Matthew 24:10-13 NIV “At that time MANY WILL TURN AWAY FROM THE FAITH and will betray and hate each other, and MANY FALSE PROPHETS WILL APPEAR and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
‭‭
2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJV “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day [the Lord’s return] shall not come, except THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

According to the scriptures what we see happening with churches and church folks is as foretold. Some of us once belonged to one or more false churches that left a sour taste in our mouths and rightfully so. Who would want to go through that horrible experience again?😳 I, your brother know the feeling and want you to be encouraged and know God loves you and is near to you. (Psalm 34:18) God has seen your hurt and pain. Better things are on the way.😊

IMITATE JESUS

When we look at the life of Jesus on earth He was usually in group settings. (Luke 14:25-27 Luke 5:1-3 Mark 3:32-35) We also read that it was His practice to get alone to pray. (Matthew 14:23 Mark 6:46 Luke 6:12) As Jesus’ disciples it is our privilege to imitate Him. Hence it is perfectly spiritual to be in fellowship with others even worldly folks if it’s our aim to share the gospel with them. But if you are presently alone I encourage you to constantly pray the Lord allows you to meet real brethren in the faith. Remember Jesus said just 2 or 3 can be so beneficial.

I would also like to encourage us to be careful not to have a judgmental spirit when seeking out brothers and sisters because of our past experiences. How often do we hear of folks going into new relationships carrying old baggage from past affairs.🤔 This is not good, it’s not fair to the new people we meet. Let us forgive as the Lord forgave us. (Matthew 6:14-15) Following this one command: FORGIVENESSES, makes a huge difference in our lives.😊 It allows us to move on and keep living.

In Hebrews 10:24-25 we are also commanded to do something I think we often miss; we are told to think of ways we can spur one another on towards love and good deeds. God is telling us to GET CREATIVE when it comes to encouraging one another.😊

GET CREATIVE

Notice also Hebrews 10:24-25 never said our purpose for meeting as a church is just to get fed. But again we are told to think of ways to encourage and feed each other. In other words don’t come to the party empty-handed, bring something.😃 🎊 Going to church or meeting together as believers is about pouring into the lives of others. The focus is on giving not getting. If you go to church just to get fed (spiritually or physically) you are going for the wrong reason. Repent. Change your motivation and think of how you can edify someone else. Just a kind word of encouragement can do much if that’s all you have to give.😊 Jesus was always feeding others spiritually and physically. Let us imitate Him, He is our example.

Proverbs‬ ‭11:24-25‬ ‭NET‬‬ “One person is generous and yet grows more wealthy, but another withholds more than he should and comes to poverty. A generous person will be enriched, and the one who provides water for others will himself be satisfied.”

Acts‬ ‭2:42-47‬ ‭NET‬‬ “They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Reverential awe came over everyone, and many wonders and miraculous signs came about by the apostles. All who believed were together and held everything in common, and they began selling their property and possessions and distributing the proceeds to everyone, as anyone had need. Every day they continued to gather together by common consent in the temple courts, breaking bread from house to house, sharing their food with glad and humble hearts, praising God and having the good will of all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number every day those who were being saved.”

No wonder God was adding to their number every day those who were being saved. They were living as He had commanded them too.😊

WE ARE NOT ALONE

As long as we are in the Lord we are never alone. God is with us. A key to fighting loneliness is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, always having plenty to do in the work of the Lord. (Matthew 6:33 1 Corinthians 15:58) That will always involve sharing with other people. It’s harder to be lonely when you’re constantly pouring into the lives of other people. God is encouraging us to get creative and think of ways we can help others. We can do this now no matter what our circumstances are. If all we can do is pray for someone else this too is God’s will.😊 (Ephesians 6:18)

Social media affords us opportunities unlike before to reach out and get involved in others lives positively. This is another platform where we can unleash our unique, spiritual gifts and talents given us by God for His glory. (Ephesians 2:10) May we focus more on the well being of others whatever state we are in. And if we are alone temporarily know that we can always have communion with our heavenly Father Almighty God through meditation, study of His word, visions and dreams if He chooses, and prayer.😊 (Psalm 1:1-3 Acts 2:17-18)

Deliverance Through the Power of Praise — In Pursuit of My First Love

When we offer praise amid trials, it does not only set us free, but it brings deliverance to all that concerns us, to everyone around us. The power of God moves mightily without limits.

Deliverance Through the Power of Praise — In Pursuit of My First Love

It Only Takes A Little Faith

It Only Takes A Little Faith

Matthew 17:20 KJV “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Don’t you just love the way Jesus teaches us? Can you imagine the looks on His disciples faces when he said, ‘You can tell this mountain to move from here to there and it will move?’ Jesus wants us to be mountain movers too.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

God loves rewarding those who seek Him diligently. And He loves demonstrating how powerful our faith in Him is. Faith goes beyond anything in this world. It is not from this world. It is of God.

Hebrews 11:1 KJV “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The natural mind doesn’t understand faith. ‘How can there be evidence of things not seen?’ they may ask. To answer such a question I’ll give an example: you believe that wind exist, right? But can you see the wind? No. But you do see evidence of the wind in everything from a sailboat to a hurricane. Likewise those who have faith in God and His mighty power don’t have to see everything physically to know that He exist. But they can also see the invisible qualities of God through the things He has made.

Romans 1:20 KJV “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”

FAITH MOVES MOUNTAINS/GIANTS TOO

To illustrate faith further a young boy named David was moved by his faith to boldly confront a battle tested champion named Goliath. David wasn’t a soldier. He was a young shepherd boy who herded sheep, and wrote songs and poems about God. A highly unlikely candidate to take on a warrior of Goliath’s stature. Oh, I forgot to add; Goliath was a nine and a half foot giant! Had David ever fought a nine and a half foot giant before? Had he ever SEEN or experienced this? No. So what evidence did he have that emboldened him to take on such a task? Was this boy just nuts? Let’s let David answer these questions in his own words.

While asking King Saul for permission to fight the giant this is what David said:

1 Samuel 17:34-37 NIV “But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, [35] I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. [36] Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. [37] The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”

What a man! I mean, “boy.” Hah hah hah! David was something else. And yes, he was successful in striking down and defeating the giant Goliath. This great victory of faith has become known for thousands of years. Do you SEE what faith can do for you?

Like David we can do things too we’ve never done or seen before. What evidence do we have of things unseen? What mighty acts have we witnessed our heavenly Father do? To whom can we compare our God? To no one! He is the King of the universe!

2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”

Desire And Soul Hunters

1 Peter 2:11 KJV “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.”

Something unseen wars against our souls: fleshly lusts. Lust is something we feel, something we crave and long for. Different things can trigger lust. For example:

Proverbs 6:25 KJV “Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.”

A woman’s beauty can cause one to lust. God warns against this. She can even take you away (capture you) with her eyelids? What’s up with that? It’s true. Ever notice women today that wear false eyelashes? Doesn’t it do something different to their appearance like make them look more seductive? God said to watch out for those blinking eyelids and coy looks. They have power to seize you. I’m talking from experience. I’ve been seized more times than I care to admit. I’m fortunate to be alive.

Proverbs 31:30 NET “Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the LORD will be praised.”

Charm is very deceptive. And so is flattery. There’s a saying: “You catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.” How sweet are the words of the soul hunter. How nice they can make us feel. We can be led to the slaughter without even knowing it, partly because WE ARE DESIRING THE WRONG THING.

James 1:14-15 KJV “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Proverbs 5:3-4 NIV “For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; [4] but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword.”

Proverbs 29:5-6 NIV “Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet. [6] Evildoers are snared by their own sin, but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.”

Flattery and charm works best on those who covet what is evil. And those who are looking for evil always find it. What you are about to read next applies to both males and females:

PLIGHT OF THE SIMPLE

Proverbs 7:7-27 NIV “I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who had no sense. [8] He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house [9] at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in. [10] Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent. [11] (She is unruly and defiant, her feet never stay at home; [12] now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner she lurks.) [13] She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said: [14] “Today I fulfilled my vows, and I have food from my fellowship offering at home. [15] So I came out to meet you; I looked for you and have found you! [16] I have covered my bed with colored linens from Egypt. [17] I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. [18] Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning; let’s enjoy ourselves with love! [19] My husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey. [20] He took his purse filled with money and will not be home till full moon.” [21] With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk. [22] All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose [23] till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life. [24] Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. [25] Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths. [26] Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. [27] Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death.”

Did you notice this women told the young man that she had food left over from her fellowship (or peace) offering? And she said, “Today I fulfilled my vows?” She had went to the temple earlier that day and offered a sacrifice to God. She just came out of church so to speak, and is now seducing the young man. According to The Law the food sacrificed in a fellowship offering had to be eaten the same day the sacrifice was made. But if the person made a vow (as she did) the flesh from the sacrifice could be eaten by the next day. On the third day it had to be burned up. (Leviticus 7:11-18 19:5-8) So, this woman is telling the young man that she is willing to share her food with him, and that she piously keeps The Law when it comes to making vows and sacrifices. Yet she is willing to break The Law by breaking her marriage vow? DO YOU SEE HOW HYPOCRITICALLY SICK THIS CHICK IS?

There are many like her. They are very religious outwardly, but in matters of fleshly lusts they have no restraint. They abuse God’s kindness, and use it as an excuse for loose conduct. (Ephesians 5:5-6 Revelation 21:8) These have only an outward form of godliness but deny it’s true power. And from them we are told to turn away. (2 Timothy 3:5 1 Corinthians 5:9-13) Like the woman in Proverbs 6 they too go to church, then come right out of church and engage in sexual sin (some even while at church). That’s how soul hunters operate. They have no shame. They will play the, “I’m a Christian too,” role. Don’t fall for it. God says the young man in Proverbs 6 had no sense; he was simple, and was a slave to his desires. That’s why he fell for her hook line and sinker, not knowing it would cost him his life.

Who’s Blood Are You?

Who’s Blood Are You?

Colossians 1:13-14 KJV “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: [14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”

The blood of Jesus is oh so powerful! More powerful than I can fathom. When Jesus died for our sins His real blood was shed on our behalf. This blood came from Almighty God! Jesus had no human father. He was no ordinary human being. The blood of Jesus has the miraculous power to transfer people from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. Believers are literally taken from one place and firmly set into another realm:

Ephesians 2:6 NIV “And God raised us up with Christ and SEATED us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”

Jesus’ blood has in it the forgiveness of ALL SINS for the whole world. Those who believe in Him are, “Not guilty,” before God. Their sins do not follow them to the grave. Thank God! This righteous blood had to be shed on our behalf or no one could be saved. Saved from what? Saved from the just penalty of sin; eternal death. All who believe in Jesus have His blood, they have His spirit living within them. They are born again and are of His bloodline. They are the descendants of Abraham. It doesn’t matter what nationality they are. All the promises God made to Abraham regarding His blessed offspring applies to all who have faith just like Abraham the Bible says. This is accomplished by rebirth of the spirit because of God’s grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Not by works or simple human lineage. Jesus’ blood makes it possible for any bastard child to be adopted into the family of Almighty God, and receive the full rights of sonship!

Revelation 2:26-28 NLT “To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, TO THEM I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER ALL THE NATIONS. [27] THEY WILL RULE THE NATIONS with an iron rod and SMASH THEM LIKE CLAY POTS. [28] THEY WILL HAVE THE SAME AUTHORITY I RECEIVED FROM MY FATHER, and I will also give them the morning star!”

Daniel 2:44 KJV “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but IT SHALL BREAK IN PIECES AND CONSUME ALL THESE KINGDOMS, and it shall stand for ever.”

Daniel 7:27 KJV “And THE KINGDOMS and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE OF THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”

Jesus’ kindred; those who have His blood, will rule the world forever! God has decreed it. So it shall be done!

WORKERS AGAINST GOD’S PLAN

God’s enemies have been working tirelessly to thwart God’s plan. Some among us have been tricked by evil spirits into believing they will create an everlasting kingdom of their own. To us that sounds like a joke. But not to them. Look at what the next passage says these evil people with the help of evil spirits will do:

Revelation 16:13-14,16 NLT “And I saw three EVIL SPIRITS THAT LOOKED LIKE FROGS leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. [14] THEY ARE DEMONIC SPIRITS who work miracles and GO OUT TO ALL THE RULERS OF THE WORLD TO GATHER THEM FOR BATTLE AGAINST THE LORD on that great judgment day of God the Almighty. [16] And THE DEMONIC SPIRITS GATHERED ALL THE RULERS AND THEIR ARMIES to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.”

Did you catch that? All the rulers of the world and their armies are being gathered together, or brought into one group, to battle against Almighty God Himself! And all of this is at the behest of demonic evil spirits. John said in his vision these evil spirits looked like frogs. Hmmmmmmm. That sort of reminds me of the description of some of these aliens we’ve been hearing about lately. Hmmmmmmm. Meditate on that.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 NET “For the HIDDEN POWER of lawlessness is already at work. However, the one who holds him back will do so until he is taken out of the way, 8 and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival. 9 The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders, 10 and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved. 11 Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. 12 And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned.”

Yes, certain people have been secretly planning for a long time a grand showdown; a battle royal, against Almighty God! As we read Evil spirits THAT LOOKED LIKE FROGS will gather ALL THE RULERS OF THE WORLD and their armies together for this epic battle. These fools have been tricked into believing they really can beat God. The Lord just laughs:

Psalm 2:1-4 NIV “Why do the nations conspire and THE PEOPLES PLOT IN VAIN? [2] THE KINGS OF THE EARTH RISE UP AND THE RULERS BAND TOGETHER AGAINST THE LORD AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED, saying, [3] “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.” [4] THE ONE ENTHRONED IN HEAVEN LAUGHS; the Lord scoffs at them.”

Yes indeed the Lord laughs and scoffs at these fools.

MOBILIZING THE WORLD FORCE

In the media there’s much propaganda about one-worldism? All the religions coming together as one? All the governments of the world coming together as one? All the peoples coming together as one, etcetera? This message is in everything from TV commercials, to movies, sporting events, popular music, etcetera. And people are eating it up like spaghetti. They have to. They are being controlled by demons. On the surface these, “Come together as one,” messages look good. But there is a hidden agenda to them. God’s word explains where it is all leading to. We just read it: The whole world, and all the kings, and all their armies, are being gathered together for The Great Day Of God Almighty called Armageddon. Think about it: in order to get the whole world to fight against God you have to get the whole world on the same page, you think?

As you’ve read in the scriptures above all mankind is being helped (deceived) by evil spirits in this endeavor. ALL THE RULERS OF THE WORLD AND THEIR ARMIES are being mobilized against God and His anointed (Jesus Christ). No wonder they hate His people (true Christians) so much. The Bible book of Daniel talks about this as well. And it’s found in many other places in the scriptures. I know; this sounds like science fiction to some, and it sounds crazy or funny to others. But God is not one to be mocked. He predicted this would happen. So it shall be done. This, MYSTERY OF INIQUITY,” is already at work. (2 Thessalonians 2:7 KJV)

Everything happening today was prophesied long ago including the final outcome. Repent while there is still time. Receive the truth. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can get us out of this mess. Be transferred into His bloodline, into His everlasting kingdom before it is too late. Every one of God’s enemies will be utterly slaughtered on His great Day (Armageddon). And then they will have to spend eternity tormented in the lake of fire! (Revelation 21:8) These opponents of God and Jesus Christ are the seed or bloodline of the serpent; Satan the devil. And their judgment is rightfully deserved. Who’s blood are you?

Don’t Give Up

Don’t Give Up

Romans 7:14-25 NET “For we know that the law is spiritual – but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin. For I don’t understand what I am doing. For I do not do what I want – instead, I do what I hate. But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good. But now it is no longer me doing it, but sin that lives in me. For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it. For I do not do the good I want, but I do the very evil I do not want! Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer me doing it but sin that lives in me. So, I find the law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God in my inner being. But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? THANKS BE TO GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.”

It’s not how good you are, it’s not how bad you are, but it’s the blood of Jesus that has power to make you holy and forgive you for your sins. Will we put faith in this blood? Or will we sulk in our failures? Will we try to obtain righteousness by being good? Or will we accept the truth that no one is righteous. (Romans 3:10)

It’s not how good you are, it’s not how bad you are, but it’s the blood of Jesus that has power to make you holy and forgive you for your sins. (1 John 1:7-9) Will we put faith in His blood? Will we accept God’s free gift? The payment is already made. The price has already been paid. Stop trying to pay the price through works. Stop beating yourself up because of your sins. Put faith in Jesus’ blood and experience the greatest miracle ever: salvation of your soul, being one with God, not guilty of ALL of your sins, and the unspeakable joy of a born again child of God who has eternal life! YAY!!!😃

God Still Wins

God Still Wins

Philippians 1:28 KJV “And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.”

______________________________________________________________________________

Even when Satan attacks you God still wins.😊 When we look at persecution from this vantage point we see a sore loser trying to turn us into losers. The Devil is already defeated. When we remember this his attacks don’t carry the same weight. They don’t feel quite the same. We think of ourselves less and don’t get as upset about stuff. Hatred towards us is really hatred towards God. Hatred from a defeated devil; a sore loser, who can’t handle defeat is a good thing for us. We are so privileged to be hated for following Jesus Christ. (Matthew 5:10-12) It means we’re winners!😊 We are the children of God! When we shift our minds to the big picture our sufferings don’t hurt as much. They become easier to bear.

Not fearing our adversaries in the least is a definite sign to them of their destruction Philippians 1:28 says, “But to you of salvation, and that of God.” Now that’s walking in victory.
