A few years ago I was riding on the back of a train exactly like this one. It was winter time and I was rolling through Utah and I was what we call “gearless and fearless” meaning I did not have the proper camping gear, no sleeping bag or blanket, no pack, just the clothes on my back. It was well below freezing and my feet felt like they were blocks of ice and I was truly freezing my friends. The train slowed as we were rolling through some town and I prayed to God “please stop this train so I can get some gear”. That train stopped literally 3-5 minutes after that. I got off and I was directly behind a building that said “Klymit” and I could see it was a big store that manufactured and sold backpacking gear. The store was closed so I looked into the dumpster behind the store and my eyes could not believe what I saw. Inside that dumpster were many high quality sleeping bags and sleeping pads, MANY to choose from. They must have been defects or returns. Down sleeping bags, the good ones. It makes me tear up because I know the Lord provided for me that day, and I have many more stories similar to this. I left there with 2 sleeping bags and 2 sleeping pads, because I knew I would find another homeless person to give to… I’m sharing this because I know it’s true that if you believe what God says in Mathew Chapter 6 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value then they? Yes it is good to be prepared and to stock up on supplies, but always remember that God will provide, his words are true, you just have to believe it.
If it happened to God it can’t happen to me or you? Are we higher than God?
There was a powerful spirit created by God. His name was Lucifer:
Isaiah 14:12 KJV “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
Lucifer became a rebel who is known today as Satan the Devil. And he does weaken the nations. Lucifer turned against his father God.😳 Not only did he fall away there were other spirit sons of God that joined his rebellion. If God was betrayed by close relatives it can’t happen to me or you?🤔
While on earth Jesus had 12 very close companions called apostles. Like Lucifer one of them was a devil. (John 6:70) That’s right, his name was Judas. When Judas betrayed Jesus to add insult to injury he kissed Him. Yeah!😳 How sick! (Luke 22:48) When you’re betrayed by people you’re not just dealing with flesh and blood you’re being harassed by an evil spirit. (Ephesians 6:12) If it happened to Jesus can it not happen to me or you? (John 15:20) Oh it will cut like a knife when it does happen. But If we get so depressed about it that we stop serving God we need to repent. No one who loves their companions and relatives more than God will inherit eternity. (Matthew 10:32-39) I know it hurts. But I still have to be honest with you and tell you we must repent if someone close to us has caused us to lose our fire for God. If this has happened we still have time to get it right. It’s not the end of the world yet (though it’s close). Don’t waste time repent to God. He will still accept us. He’s that kind.😊
Did not Jesus tell us part of the sign of our times would be marked by mass betrayal?
Matthew 24:10 KJV “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
So should it overwhelm us entirely when this happens to us, to the point that we too become rebels?😳 Of course not. It happened to God and none of us are higher than God. In fact we are blessed and privileged to share in the same sufferings as Jesus Christ. Interesting how being blessed doesn’t always feel good while being cursed often does.🤔
Matthew 5:10-12 CEB ““Happy are people whose lives are HARRASSED because they are righteous, because the kingdom of heaven is theirs. “Happy are you when people insult you and harass you and speak all kinds of bad and false things about you, all because of me. Be full of joy and be glad, because you have a great reward in heaven. In the same way, people harassed the prophets who came before you.”
Luke 6:22-23 KJV “Blessead are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall SEPARATE YOU FROM THEIR COMPANY, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. [23] REJOICE YE IN THAT DAY, and LEAP FOR JOY: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.”
2 Timothy 2:12 KJV “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.”
Philippians 3:10 NET “My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to SHARE IN HIS SUFFERINGS, and to be like him in his death.”
Colossians 1:24 NET “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body – for the sake of his body, the church – what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ.”
Please accept the truth that sets us free. (John 8:31-32) Accept that if God Himself was betrayed, lied on, slandered, etcetera, yes it can happen to you and me. I hope and pray that we all can see past the pain of rejection and recognize what’s really at work; our salvation, and sanctification. I know, these things are hard to think about when you have been rejected by your mother, your father, your son, or daughter, you husband, wife, etcetera. But know that God is making it all work out for your good even when it doesn’t feel good:
Romans 8:28-29 CEB “We know that God works all things together for good for the ones who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. We know this because God knew them in advance, and he decided in advance that they would be conformed to the image of his Son. That way his Son would be the first of many brothers and sisters.”
God knew you in advance, He knew they would betray you in advance, and He’s making it all work out for your good.😃 So don’t let this destroy you. To be fair we all have rebelled against God.🤔 (Romans 3:10-12,23-24) Forgive them that have betrayed you and God will forgive you. (Matthew 6:14-15) That’s right, let it go!
How sad so many think they are awoke because they know about the Illuminati, fluoride in the water, or even what’s in the vaccine.💉 I hear people talk about these things and claim to be woke yet they lead sinful lives. They are gossips, slanderers, and backbiters. They’re unforgiving, cruel, and disloyal. But they’re woke, right? Since when does refusing to take a vaccine make you woke? And why are so many saying the vaccine is the mark of the beast? It is not the mark of the beast. How do we know this? The Bible clearly says that no one will be able to buy or sell who refuses to take the mark. (Revelation 13:16-17) There are many not vaccinated (including myself) who still buy and sell. So it’s not the mark of the beast. Are you really woke? Are you sure? Or are you fast asleep?
Being woke doesn’t mean you possess deep knowledge. Being woke means that we act on the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Obeying Jesus’ commands is what it means to be woke.😊
Yah know when the Bible says, ‘Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart,’ it’s really true. Some of my most enjoyable moments came during my most difficult trials. God not only provided my needs He gave me things He know I like. Sometimes these came in the form of knowledge on how to acquire them without paying the normal high price.💰 He didn’t have to do that. I’m sure many of you have similar experiences.😊
But what if we don’t get what we want as fast as we want it? Does this mean God doesn’t care? Of course not. Let’s take for example the desire for a husband or a wife. These are honorable desires. But some may feel like since it hasn’t happened yet maybe God doesn’t care about them. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact not having a spouse yet could be an expression of God’s love. ❤️ Sometimes we’re not quite ready as we may think. And besides we’re not talking about owning a new pair of sneakers here, or a new smart phone, etcetera. We’re talking being joined together for life to another human being! That’s huge! Marriage is no light matter. It shouldn’t be viewed like getting a new car or even buying a house. This is way more serious.🤔
Let’s fight hard not to let disappointments😞 trick us into believing God doesn’t care about us. He does care. Look at all the trouble He went through to redeem us through His son Jesus. Not only did He die for us He was TORTURED on our behalf. Is that a God who doesn’t care about you and me? He loves us more than we can know. The truth is we need to LEARN how to love God.😊
1 John 5:3 KJV “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
Revelation 3:20 KJV “Behold, I STAND AT THE DOOR, AND KNOCK: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
What we think about🤔 opens doors and closes them in the spirit realm.🚪
Isaiah 26:3 KJV “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose MIND IS STAYED ON THEE: because he trusteth in thee.”
When our minds are, “Stayed on thee,” our door is wide open to God. We are in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.😊 This results in perfect peace and eternal life. Doing this also securely shuts our door to the Devil. Ask yourself, “What do I think about most? What is constantly on my mind? Stuff about this life? Or the things of God?” These a very important questions. Because what we think about determines our destiny:
Romans 8:6-7 HCSB “For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God’s law, for it is unable to do so.”
The mind is a powerful thing. Listen to how God described the mindset of everyone in Noah’s day:
Genesis 6:5 KJV “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that EVERY IMAGINATION OF THE THOUGHTS of his heart was ONLY EVIL continually.”
God said, ‘Every imagination of the thoughts of mankind’s heart in Noah’s day was ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY.’😳 They had no good thoughts? Their minds were corrupt 24/7? That’s what God said. The world back then was an open playground for the dark side. (Genesis 6:1-7) Man’s wickedness was, “Great in the earth.” Interestingly our schools never taught us about how wicked things were in Noah’s day.🤔 Could it be because our days are similar? Did you know that Jesus said when he returns the world will be as it was in the days of Noah. (Matthew 24:37-39) Most have no idea just how wicked things were back then. Man was wicked enough to provoke God to destroy the whole world in a flood. God says when Jesus returns He will destroy this evil world by fire. (2 Peter 3:6-7) Mankind’s wickedness is great again in the earth. His mind is totaly corrupt.
Are our minds garbage dumps? Which side of the spirit realm are we opening doors to by what we think about?🤔 Has this world’s entertainment fooled us? If you look up the etymology of the word, “Entertainment,” you will find that word means to go inside of (enter), and control the mind. What?😲 That’s right. Is this world’s wicked music, movies, and other forms of media going inside of and controlling our minds? Or is my mind being renewed daily by the word of God?😊
Romans 12:2 HCSB “Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”
A mind not renewed by God can not discern God’s will. And that’s exactly why Satan wants to control our minds. He doesn’t want us to open the door and let Jesus in. No, he wants full, inhibited access to us. Satan wants our minds to become amusement parks for him and his demons. He will entertain us in order to achieve this. He will make raping our minds, our hearts, and our souls, seem like fun. Reject wicked, worldly entertainment that dishonors God. It is harming us though it feels good momentarily.
“REPENT” IS NOT A CURSE WORD
Did you know that the word, “Repent,” used in the Bible literally means to change one’s mind? To change one’s way of thinking? Yes, check the Greek etymology of the word. The Devil has made, “Repent,” sound like a curse word. Whenever people hear, “Repent,” all kinds of wild, scary ideas pop into their heads. This is partly because people don’t know what the word means. All God is asking people everywhere to do is change their mindset (Repent). The same way we change a channel on a T.V. set with God’s help we can change our mindset. Repentance is a decision. When one changes one’s mind one’s actions follow. God is asking us to examine ourselves, our thoughts, our ways, and be honest with ourselves. If we are truly honest we will recognize we have sinned against a Holy God. None of us have done what is right all the time. (Ecclesiastes 7:20) In fact some of us will admit we’ve done wrong most of the time. If we humbly admit this to God in prayer asking for His forgiveness, and let Him know we want and need Him in our lives, do you know that GOD WILL FORGIVE US? No matter what we’ve done?😊 (Proverbs 28:13)
The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23) Since all have sinned all legally deserve to die. But the good news is Jesus paid our sin debt when He died for us on the cross. That’s a debt we don’t legally have to pay.😊 ANYONE WHO BELIEVES in this provision from God (what Jesus did for us on the cross) can be forgiven for ALL their sins and wicked thoughts, and have eternal life!😊
If you haven’t done so I encourage you to ask God in prayer for His forgiveness of all your misdeeds and sins. Believe that Jesus paid your sin debt so you won’t have to in hell. Thank God for His mercy and ask Him to come into your heart and life. If you sincerely do this He will let you know you are truly forgiven. And He will let you know what to do next. Don’t worry just trust Him.😊
