Revelation 2:10 KJV “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou FAITHFUL unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
When a person really believes in a cause he/she is willing to risk their lives for it. Man achieves great heights (and lows) when he believes what he’s doing is right. And his cause can be dead wrong.😳 It’s sheer belief that gives humans courage to face danger and fear. How blessed are those whose beliefs and cause is righteous!😊 How blessed are they who through faith face danger, fear, difficulty, and in the name of Jesus conquer them! 👑 For he/she shall receive the crown of life.
Philippians 4:6-7 CSB “DON’T WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
What I’m about to say may sound hard to some. I encourage you to hang in there for a minute please before you pass judgment. Let’s turn to Mother’s chapter 1 verse 9. That’s the passage where God says, ‘If you’re a mother, a father, a grandparent, etcetera, it’s ok for you to worry and disobey Him.’ Is that what your Bible says?😳 Mines doesn’t say that either. So why do some use the term, “I’m a mother I’m supposed to worry?” Part of the answer is worrying comes natural to us. And that’s exactly the point; IT’S NATURAL,NOT SPIRITUAL.🤔 EVERY form of worry comes from the flesh, and is a lack of faith in God. We all sometimes do it. I’ve worried about my son at times. But when we do this we are not trusting in God, we are sinning because worry is rooted in fear. (1 John 4:18) Some of us catch ourselves and ask, “Why am I worrying? God told me not to do this.” Then we repent.😊 Others make excuses why it’s ok to worry. Sadly we do this with other things God commands us not to do also.🤔
“IT’S ONLY NATURAL”
Really? Those 3 words (It’s only natural) are gonna cause many to go to hell. Jesus says:
Matthew 12:36-37 CSB “I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.””
When we feel deeply about something it is our NATURAL inclination to justify it even when it doesn’t agree with what God’s word says. And if anyone corrects us about our feelings, “They must think they are holier than thou!”😡 (Proverbs 12:1) That’s how many feel about godly counsel. Just as it is natural to worry it’s also natural to wonna commit fornication. But does that make it right? (Hebrews 13:41 Corinthians 6:18-20) Just as it’s natural to worry it’s also natural to get angry quickly when people irritate us. But does that make it right? Just as it’s natural to worry it’s also natural to tell a lie when we get in a jam. But does that make it right just because it’s natural? (Ecclesiastes 7:9Ephesians 4:26-27Revelation 21:8) I think we get the point.
Since God commands us not to worry we must learn not to worry the same way we learn not to fornicate, not to get drunk, not to gossip or slander, etcetera. Oh if we only knew the doors we open to the dark evil realm when we choose to worry.😳 (Ephesians 6:12) God instructs us not to worry about ANYTHING and instead trust Him. I know this is not always easy to do but we mustn’t give up learning how to do it. It is a commandment. Our eternal well being depends on learning this. If we’ve been worrying let us repent. Our GREAT, BIG GOD is more than capable of handling any of our problems.😊 And lastly I once heard a sister say this: “Instead of looking at how big your problems are look at your problems and tell them HOW BIG YOUR GOD IS!”😃
Mark 11:22-25 CSB “Jesus replied to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for — BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT AND IT WILL BE YOURS. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.””
Psalms 91:14 CSB “Because he has his heart set on me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name.”
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 KJV “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
One day a tornado ripped through our town leaving destruction in it’s path. But something strange happened at the town’s junkyard. Instead of destroying it the tornado took all the metals, rubber, plastic, glass, etcetera and formed them into a 757 jumbo jet!😳 That’s right, the tornado took all the junkyard scraps and formed a fully functional commercial airliner! From the cockpit to the passenger area everything in the aircraft worked!😳 You don’t believe me? Why not?
So how do you expect me to believe that a, “Big bang,” an explosion in the cosmos created all of this order we see in heaven and earth? The clouds are wondrous by themselves, then there’s rain, snow, the sun, the moon, and the stars? You expect me to believe an explosion created all of this and put them in perfect order? There’s birds of many different species. Humans, animals, fishes, insects, and plants of all different kinds. You really expect me to believe all these came about through an explosion then they evolved over time?😆 The earth, the sea, the rivers, the mountains, the valleys, do I need to go on? Oh I forgot, the four seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. Do you really think an explosion is responsible for all of this? It would be easier for me to believe that a 757 jumbo jet was created by a tornado passing through a junkyard than for me to believe this!😂

You know there’s a God. That’s why some of you are so angry at Him. Why would you be mad at someone who doesn’t exist?🤔 Do you get angry with Santa Claus when you don’t get what you want? No, because you know he’s a fictitious character. But oh how differently people feel about God (because He’s real and they know it).🤔 In denying the existence of God (throwing a grownup temper tantrum) you are playing a deadly game. Repent while God is still giving you time. He is the only one who can make sense of all your past hurts. Wonna know what real joy feels like?😃 Take it from this former atheist: seek God, get alone and cry out to Him. Ask Him whatever is on your heart. That’s what I did one day. And He answered me, then showed me How real He really is!🥲
