Psalms 119:92 HCSB “If Your instruction had not been my delight, I would have died in my affliction.”

This is what saved you and me from the claws and jaws of the narcissists. You woke up and remembered the goodness of God’s law. When I look back over the decades, at the narcissistic relationships I got caught up in this is what saved me. I remember I stopped reading, I stopped studying my Bible. That kept me in the funk (wicked relationships). When the pain got so unbearable that all I could do is cry out to the Lord He heard me. He instructed me to pick up my sword; His word. Slowly my strength came back to me. Not too long after that those narcissist demons didn’t stand a chance, the relationship was over.

This is the pattern that happened in every situation where God set me free from a bad relationship. Deep down inside you love God and His law. But because you have sin you get tripped up sometimes. God knew you were gonna do it before you even did it. Hence Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. Now get up! Pick up your sword right where you are! Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate. Stick to a daily personal study program of God’s word. Rekindle your love for God’s law and watch those chains fall off.
